TTPB: MSR students has no funding from the program itself. This is depending on your future advisor, but MSR students can get tuition support and stipend if your supervisor has enough funding. (PhD students are always more prioritized than masters students regarding funding... so it might be better to get outside scholarship or fellowship just in case) Generally, you need to pay all the fees in the first semester because your supervisor is not determined just after you get in. If you are a luck guy interned at CMU RI before and your supervisor has already decided to hire you, you may not need to pay tuition at all, but still it depends on the person.
