On being waitlisted - I suppose we just have to hope for the best and be grateful to have gotten as far as we did. It is not uncommon for those on a waitlist to be offered a position, so I'm trying to remain hopeful. Has the director of the program e-mailed you personally? If so, I'd say that there is a good chance you could get bumped up - though, at Harvard, I'm not sure how many people would deny their acceptance! Good luck. Has anybody heard a response on their waitlist status yet?
