- "Unfortunately, our PhD program was reduced by 50% by the university for the next academic year, this in turn made decisions difficult to make from a very strong internal/external applicant pool." That means they're only taking four students! I'm glad I didn't wait for their reply, and went with the offer from the University of Toronto, which is more reputable anyway. Enrollment down 50%? Tisch must be having some money problems.
