I applied for the History Ph.D. program with a concentration on the Middle East but didn't make the cut. They sent my application to the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and I got accepted to their 2 year M.A. program with half tuition funding ($22,284/year). It's a consolation M.A., but I sure am consoled by the offer! :D I'll decline soon because I have a full funding Ph.D. offer elsewhere.
