Anthropology, UCSC (emailed to check portal) I regret to inform you that your application for admission to graduate standing at the University of California, Santa Cruz has not been approved. The number of well-qualified applicants for admission to graduate study at Santa Cruz far exceeds the number of places available. Although a substantial majority of these applicants will meet every minimal standard an admissions committee might establish, not all will be admitted. Admission nearly always depends on, for example, compatibility of the applicant's expressed interests with those of faculty in the program, and balance of disciplinary subfields within the program, as well as other factors. Please direct any further inquiry you might have to the Department to which you applied. Anthropology, University Of Colorado, Boulder Archaeology Subfield - I applied to the Masters Program originally in December and was waitlisted on Feb 6th. The faculty I connected with was looking for a PhD student so I was offered a spot in the PhD program.

Anthropology, Colorado State University - Fort Collins No email, just happened to check the portal. Tuition is waived and I'll receive a stipend for the first year. I was told that I was recommended for admission by my advisor in February but just got the official letter.

Anthropology, UCSC Ignore Status: Another person had asked but wondering if anyone had heard back UCSC anthropology department yet. They had sent out an email last month saying to except offers starting to coming in late Feb/early March so I'm wondering if anybody has received an offer yet.
