Marriage And Family Therapy (Counseling MFCC Program), San Francisco State University No communication since day of application. SFGateway Application Status was stuck at 19 Jan, 2024. Today, i.e. on 10th April, it updated to denied. Expected the result since accepted and waitlisted candidates have updated on reddit and grad cafe. Have been accepted in 3 other universities, so no regrets. TBH a little glad that this is finally over. I am going to grad school!

Marriage And Family Therapy, San Francisco State University i received zero emails from the school since i submitted my application so safe to say i was worried for the longest time. this morning at around 7:30am I received an email offering me a spot on the waitlist. i accepted.

Marriage And Family Therapy, California State University, Northridge No explanation provided, but 3 years of relevant work experience and multiple involvements both on and off campus during my undergraduate years relevant to mental health. Suspected that my various identities prevented full acceptance. Several awards for mental health advocacy and involvement.

Speech Language Pathology, Baylor University (online) 7 years Lead Pharmacy Technician, 7 months TA at nonprofit school that provides education and therapy services, 50+ observation hours. Just wanting to spread some hope for those that are feeling discouraged.

Family Therapy, Drexel University Ignore status! Priority deadline was January 1; regular deadline is May 1. Email received March 10 to say my application status is reviewed and to monitor the online portal for a official response. One of my recommenders turned in the letter late. It's unclear if the long timeline means I was considered as part of the priority or regular admission process.

Cognitive Science, Johns Hopkins University Email to check portal; generic rejection email. 2 internships in occupational therapy, current RA at Yale, 1 poster publication with Yale. Doesn’t surprise me; after 3.5 months of wait and no move to the proposal phase, I figured it wasn’t a good fit.
