Classics, University Of California, Los Angeles 0a/1w/2i/5r/0p. I have been informed that I am at the very top of the waitlist, so, if anyone declines an offer of admission, that offer will go to me. At this point, I know that I am neither admitted nor on the waitlist for any of the other programs I applied to, so this program is my last chance to get into a PhD program for the current application cycle.

Classics, Princeton University 0a/0w/2i/5r/1p. I already knew that I wasn't a contender for their program a month ago because they didn't ask to interview me, but I just received the official notification today. So far, I haven't received any definite acceptance offers, but I am more likely than not going to get into the classics program at UCLA.

Classics, Princeton University (Pre-Doctoral Program) Wrote to director asking for an update over the weekend, received word today that unofficially they had not recommended my application. Still good to know.

Classics, Tulane University E-mailed DGS for update, was told unofficially and extremely courteously that I was a great fit for the program, but due to the "very large and very strong applicant pool" they can't extend an offer "at this point." Said sometimes the waitlist moves much, other times not at all. Overall a very warm and affirming message to receive.
