E-mail stated decision. Yes I received this in July.

1a(MA)/0w/6r(all PhD)/0p. Wow, the dream is still alive. In terms of funding, (based on my financial aid offer for 26-27) I received an institutional grant that covers roughly 50% of my tuition per semester as a full time student. It is not a lavish, fully funded PhD offer, but I am wholly set on enrolling. I couldn't be happier to have this opportunity to return to my studies.

Wow, what a twist at the end of the cycle. This is my second cycle of applications to graduate school. I didn't get into any fully funded MA programs last time, let alone any PhDs. This year, among the PhDs I've been admitted to now include my dream school. It feels weird and it hasn't fully kicked in yet. To those who didn't have luck this cycle: if you feel philosophy is for you, please don't give up. I am not especially gifted nor talented. This process is grueling and unforgiving. I happened to stick with it and luck was on my side this time around. I'll reiterate: please don't give up. If I can do it, you can too.

Just informed rejections. Not even a waitlist. I emailed them asking about timelines a while ago; no one emailed me back for weeks until this response: “Our Director of Graduate Studies has asked me to convey the following to you: We appreciate your interest in our program. We have made our initial round of offers and unfortunately you were not among them. We will not close the admissions process until we finalize all admissions decisions, but you should look to your other options at this point. Our applications were particularly strong this year, and we had to make several tough decisions. We think you have a lot to offer a graduate program, and we hope you are able to pursue one that is right for you.” Luckily I already made my decisions, but it seems like so late to leave people hanging (not even the waitlist! Just regular rejections!)
