Was invited to submit a video interview. Rejected around 10 days later anyway. I'm a psychology major but I didn't have any practical background in mental health so if I were to guess that would be the biggest reason.

I applied at the end of the application period when the program sent an email saying that there were still positions available. Got ~30 hours notice and no flexibility for a panel interview over Zoom. 5 of the 6 panelists made it very clear that they felt I was wasting their time (6th was youngest, and newest to faculty). Would not recommend this program unless you are dead set on it and can stand up for yourself. I have BScs in chemistry and physics and 8 years experience in various laboratories, was treated with significantly more respect by professors in other programs.

Terrible program, completely lacking in credibility. I interviewed two weeks ago and they told me the result will be available in two days, but I received updates until today. They gave me offer at 12:00 pm (EST) and recommended me to accept it soon (although in the email they said the offer will be kept until 4.15). I would like to decline it, but when I log in the portal at 7:00 pm EST, the offer was rescinded and became waitlist again, it is still afternoon in California at the time! A 7-hour offer, what are they doing? I emailed them that I will decline. Glad that I didn't accept this offer.
