Deferred admission for January 2024 start

Accepted with deferred admission until January. Waitlisted for July start. Very nice voicemail and follow up call from Debra Allbery. 2a : 1w : 8r : 3p

Call from program's director w/promise of official email to follow. Said they were looking to have a new class of 8 fiction and 7 poetry candidates. Extremely exciting! 3a/0r/0w/2p

Warren Wilson posters - just call. I called last Wednesday and they looked up my name and very kindly informed me of my rejection. Official notes suppose to go out this week.

I called and spoke to the Assistant Director. She was extremely nice, looked at my file and told me that "I was no longer under consideration", which of course meant rejection, and official note would be out end of this week and next week. Still, I was impressed how kind she was on the phone. Good luck to everyone - given that she had to look up my file, I deducted that they were NOT done yet with reviews (at least not in Fiction).

I agree with poster regarding improbably fast turnaround time. Their deadline is March 1st!

All the Warren Wilson acceptances have gone out to my knowledge - folks have until the 19th to commit, so I expect the waitlist and rejections may go out after that.
