Well, finally got the email. Generic, without names.

I reached out to ask if there was a specific date for the announcement or if the evaluation process was still ongoing. In response, I was informed that I was not selected for admission and that official notifications will be sent out shortly.

I received a very kind and transparent email informing me that I am one of 10 people on the waitlist.

Very kind email from DGS saying 10 people were on the waitlist. Crossing my fingers for my dream program!

GPA is Grad

Received a really kind email. They stated there was 4 slots in this upcoming cohort. 3a /5r/3p

Notification via email from grad director with first year adivsor CC'd. said they had 118 applicants for 4 slots. I am planning on turning down the offer today or tomorrow.

IGNORE STATUS. Did anyone get any notification from them? I saw one acceptance but no other reports. Just a little strange and I am a bit nervous now

Ignore status. I've heard back from every school I applied to except Pitt. Has anyone heard back from them?

Sent email to them. They said ' We made our first round of admissions offers. If you are not selected for admissions, you will receive a notice when the process is complete, likely in May.' Anyone who got offers?

GPA is grad. Sent email inquiry about admissions decisions, heard back and was told being waitlisted. They said they'll go to the waitlist, if by any chance, after April 15.

Ignore the waitlist. I know they said it would take 2 weeks to a month, but has anyone heard back yet?

To the poster below: I sent an inquiry to the graduate coordinator yesterday. She got back to me saying that they'll need next couple of weeks to a month to make all decisions, and asking for patience. I know it's exhausting to wait for this long. Not sure if any other programs would take longer than Pittsburgh.

Please ignore the waitlist. Does anyone know if the sociology PhD program has sent out all admission/offers? I saw one post earlier saying that DGS has sent an email of admission, but I'm not sure if the admission decisions have all been sent out by now.
