Got the admit mail yesterday. No funding. International student with 2 years of industry experience and 3 Tier-B publications

Any idea when they will release decisions?

TTPB : It means a positive recommendation (either an admit/wait-listing) was forwarded by department to the graduate admissions department. Wait for 4-7 days for official admit e-mail. Congratulations.

TTPB: If you look at TAMU's history they always give out mass rejects beginning May. I know it sucks being anxious this long but that's how it's probably going to be. I am going to write a strongly worded mail once I get my results to graduate admissions and CS HOD about their mismanagement and utter disregard of applicant's time and stress. I would urge you to do the same once you have your results.

Any results from TAMU?

My status also changed from Under Review with the Dept. to Additional Review Required. Any one has any idea if this means a positive sign or a negative one.

From top 2 university in Singapore. Received an email to check portal on applyweb.

TTPB: This is actually getting ridiculous. I'm not sure how much longer they're expecting people to wait.

Was waitlisted. Just got the rejection email. Being considered for MS. (CS, PhD, Systems)

UCI has the shittiest and laziest adcoms. Are they sleeping, or in hybernation? Why was the deadline April 15, when you want to give decisions in May. Looks like I have wasted 500$ on UCs. [MS CS]

Is it true today is the deadline for accepted people to accept their offers?

Here are all the people that are waiting for results from columbia and gatech and here I am wondering WTF happed to TAMU. It has been so long and I have not heard anything back. Moreover over here I have not seen any acceptance or rejection mail waves that usually come. I am still trying to be optimistic as well this is my last college. Hoping for the best, just had to get this all out :)

Has anyone wait listed in Columbia received a reject? It's 16th already :/

They have barely released like 10 admits this here, how can seats be full? I think they will release some admits by April end. I have sent like 4 mails asking about decisions, they just send the same generic email "Hello, Thank you for applying to our graduate program. You can check the status of your application materials on the online application. If your application checklist is complete, but you have not been notified of an admissions decision yet, your application is awaiting a decision. We hope to send out all final admissions decisions by the end of May. Best, ICS Graduate Office"

What are you doing Columbia! I applied on Oct 2, 2019 and interviewed on March 10, 2020. Still haven't heard back. If its a reject, don't make me wait so long goddamit
