Still waiting for funding.

Didn't take their offer, as I accepted one at a different school.

Hey guys! For those of you strongly considering the University of Iowa or who have definitely decided on the University of Iowa, I made a Facebook group for all of us to connect. It's University of Iowa Class of 2023!

The decision process is not quite complete, but I am so thrilled to be able to accept at University of Iowa's AuD program! I will likely be turning down acceptances at Vanderbilt, Northwestern, WashU in St. Louis, University of Illinois, and Purdue University, as well as a spot on the wait-list at UNC Chapel Hill! I will not confirm until I hear back from Northwestern regarding the Hugh Knowles Scholarship, but I am so excited to become a Hawkeye!

To the poster below waitlisted for Electrical Engineering Ph.D. Fall 2019. How did you check that you were waitlisted? My grad application portal still mentions "Under review by graduate department". Where did you find out that "They are accepting 6% of the applicants this year."?

The last student from IIT Delhi, with that kind of GPA you could have gotten anywhere. What is your entry year? What's your research area? I am also at IIT Delhi, maybe we can catch up.

Undergrad From IIT- Delhi. Accepted at four schools (Purdue, Texas A&M, Washington, UT Dallas) waitlisted at one ( Cornell). 2 years of research. Thought i would get accepted but the competition is intense this year. They are accepting 6% of the applicants this year.( not much of a difference, they usually only accept 5-10% of the total applicants). Probably wont go.

Very nice email from the Director of Graduate Finances received 3/12 informing me of my waitlist status. If I am accepted from the waitlist, it will be with full funding!

No little not accompanying the letter, which helps to put things in perspective. 1a and what’s inevitably going to be 13r... I think it’s back to the drawing board for another application cycle. Can’t wait to ride the roller coaster next year with some of you fine folks!

15 candidates were interviewed and two offers were made, both of which were accepted. Another rejection from waitlists. Had I known only two spots were available, I would have tried other schools in the same tier.

Well, two offers are made and both get accepted.

This was my first response from a school, but not one I was surprised by. Anxiously looking forward to the rest of the results (applied to 4 other schools).
