Ignore interview. Has anyone heard from Rutgers University? I still haven't. I waiting to hear from both Newark and Camden. I wrote to Newark and received this reply on Mar 22nd, (though online it shows, it is not even under review} "The committee just started releasing decisions this week. Your application has been under review. You can expect a decision on or before April 20, 2022" I wrote to Camden as well but no reply.

Rejected off waitlist

Accepted in March, but fully funded ta position just came through

I got the call in March(around the 15-20th), but the letter arrived only a couple of days ago

Accepted off the waitlist via email and phone call. I had completely given up, so I am still in shock! Accepted the following morning. This closes out my (extremely rocky and stressful) season at 1a/6r/0p. For anyone reading this comment this spring or in years following: remember it only takes one acceptance to change the whole game!!! This was my second time applying and I am over the moon. This thing is a crapshoot and I was prepared to reapply in the fall and the fall after that. Your chances of getting in will increase with each time you apply :) good luck

Already knew this was a rejection. Timeline: on 3/5, I knew all initial offers were already out, although waitlisted students were not notified. Seems like they don't notify waitlisted people, just wait to see if their initial offers are accepted. Emailed a few days later to see if I was on the waitlist, and got some nice compliments from a faculty member on a piece but the email implied I was rejected. Portal update 4/1 with the rejection letter.

Accepted today via a nice personal email, but no funding available. Non-resident tuition runs about $7,035/semester, so that will be a tough one to accept. I guess NMU is no longer fully funded... Apparently the department didn't get the number of TA positions from the university that they were hoping for.

In off the waitlist.

Got a call that I was in off the waitlist, will probably have to decline based on funding. Still a huge honor though! 3a/1w/5r

I got off the waitlist in Miami University. So happy about this.

I likely won't accept the waitlist position as I've got a better offer elsewhere.

Actually not (quite) a rejection. I had been waitlisted and emailed to express my continued interest. Got a reply back that 2 of the 3 slots in fiction offered this year have been taken, and I am not in the top 2 slots on the waitlist. So, very very likely a rejection. A nice personal email explaining all this.

CNF, phone call & email

Admitted off the waitlist!!!! My knees hurt from jumping up and down. Waitlisted 2/15 , admitted 3/29.

Fully funded offer with stipend :)
