70 applicants for 5 spots, I am in the top 18. Seems highly unlikely, but I really appreciate their candor.

Their attitude has been quite cold over correspondence. They sent out a false acceptance notice last month but didn't even apologize, just said it was "in error." I suppose this was for the best if their admissions team cannot even be welcoming.

Notified that I am #1 on the waitlist. Only 2 people were offered positions, so if you are one of the two and plan on declining, please let them know asap! :)

No GRE, no MA. 3.7 GPA, 2 years work experience at a research center, 3 publications as last author. Strong letters.

Interviewed a week ago, and had a good feeling but was still unsure. Over the freaking moon and fingers crossed for anyone else waiting to hear back!

No interview - just wondering if anyone has heard anything or received an interview request for this program?

Notification to check online portal.

Email to check portal. GPA is grad school. A nice letter. I had assumed I was rejected given acceptances were over a month ago.

email to check portal :'(

Just received an email from the director of grad studies, saying that I was waitlisted. News will come soon, he says. Whew, at least it wasn't another rejection!

Professionally oriented masters degree with no publications and second attempt so not too suprising. Congratulations to all who were admitted and best of luck to those who were not!

Lovely phone call from the Director of Graduate Studies! UO GradWeb portal has also been updated as of late this morning. My focal department is English, with a secondary focus in Indigenous, Race, and Ethnic Studies. I will be accepting this offer.
