Got email providing me with assistantship and full tuition waiver yesterday. Keeping it here for anyone looking for the information: "when does UTD announce assistantships?" So, the answer is: in about 2 months after admission.

Are we even going to get decisions? Has anyone mailed them about the remaining decisions ? Can someone give me a mail id where I can mail USC for this ?

I (accepted) had an interview, but also had extenuating circumstances in my application (leave of absence, poor grades for a couple of semesters, etc.), so most of the talk was about that. I believe it depends on the professor(s) that wants to sponsor your acceptance, so it's possible to have an acceptance w/o interview

Ttpb: Did you guys also have interviews? If one has not had interview for ubc does it mean that is surely a reject?

Most Canadian schools are taking really long, unfortunately :( I would accept your current offer and decline it later in case UBC sends you something more interesting. It sucks but in light of the situation that we're in right now it's understandable.

TTPB: Thank you for your information! I have another offer which need to be decided at the end of this week, and I am pretty doubt that UBC will release their decision by then. I emailed them, but they just sent general response which is unhelpful. Very tired of waiting. Good luck to all who are still waiting!

TTPB: They have already released some admissions back in late March/early April. The deadline for accepting/declining was April 15th, so I believe a second batch will be released sometime soon.

Any idea when will they release the decision? I applied in Dec19, and it's almost 6 months. Anyone has contacted them for updates? Or is there anyone still wait for UBC?

Last week, my application status changed from "Review in progress by the department" to "Recommended for Assessment". Their website says, the status just means that the application was passed to the admission committee to review and make a decision. Can anyone know by their experience about how long do they generally take to decide?

Applied for three programs. General CS, Artificial Intelligence, Scientists and Engineers on Dec 15 and no response since then. Its been over 4 months now :( Should I just go ahead and accept other offers?

Any info regarding this programme. I have been waiting for so long, most of the colleges have sent their results. With the current scenario it feels as if the result would come towards the end of may :(

TTPB; Did you mean northwestern* ? because no one else got any decision yet for northeastern ( for people who are still waiting atleast). who else is waiting for ALIGN results?
