3.95 MA GPA. Received a response to my email checking in with the DGS, "Thank you for reaching out, and for your patience in awaiting this reply. You will be receiving a message from our admissions office soon, but for now I can confirm that we are unfortunately unable to offer you a spot in our Ph.D. program for next year. The admissions committee extends its best wishes to you in your future academic and professional endeavors." Wished the department best, it hurts a lot less now that I have an acceptance in hand somewhere else! 1a/1w/0i/13r/8p

IGNORE STATUS — has anyone heard anything? Should I assume I’m rejected if I haven’t gotten an interview by this point? Thanks and God Bless you~

Archaeology track, interview mid-February

Got email from the chair, official acceptance letter from the school should be sent next week.

Letters haven't gone out yet. POI let me know that I didn't make it in. Unfortunately, there were significant cuts to the program due to Penn's across-the-board reductions. I interviewed in late January. U.S. History subfield. Good luck to all of the people still waiting.

Has anyone received the results yet? I was one of the finalists and had an interview, but I haven’t heard anything from the department.

Email to check portal, followed by an email from the DGS the following day (interviewed in late January). Dream department/program of three years! Thrilled and so, so grateful, especially with just two impending rejections to wait for. As others have said, you only need one -- and this is the one I needed! Congrats to everyone who got in, and best luck to those still waiting to hear back. 1a/3w/5r/2p
