I'm an international student so chances are still low but excited for Jan 25-27

2 pubs (3rd author on both, impact factor >14), a year at UCSF as an undergrad researcher. Being rejected w/o interview is RIP, but the GPA's low so...

Generic Email "Thank you for your interest in the Tetrad Graduate Program. We regret that we are unable to offer you an interview. We received an unusually high volume of applications this cycle, and we are simply not able to offer interview slots to as many applicants as we would like."

It seems a not so bad GPA with first author-ship in top tier journal is still not good enough for an interview.

Bummer! My top choice! Got an email stating they received a high volume of applicants this cycle and couldn't offer me an interview. Have an MS in Biology and two published papers.

Rejected. Three first author papers, two conference posters, and two years of internship in the US. As other people said, it only accepts a small number of international students.. good luck other international students in my field!

2 yrs undergrad research, 2 yrs research experience after undergrad, 2 first-author papers, 3 conference posters, 1 conference talk. But expected, they only admitted 1 International student last year (yea public school issue)

Interview invitation received 12/10!
