This one doesn't sting so badly after finally being accepted somewhere else earlier this week. Hope everyone is taking care of themselves today, this whole process is so rough. Congrats to all those accepted! 1a/1w/3r/7p

honesty I'm shocked I didn't get waitlisted and totally heartbroken. congrats to everyone though, I need to go wallow :( 2r/0w/0a/8p

Waitlisted last year, so this is rough.

Oh well. I would say, “I love shrimp,” but I don't know what it means.

Funded offer (20k/yr). Line about how "we plan to accept you assuming your papers are in order", a lil weird since they require official transcripts upfront. 3a/1r/10p

WILDLY, i was accepted. I LOVE SHRIMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP 2a/0w/3r/4p

Waiting to hear about funding. 2a/0w/2r/6p

Got a phone call about a day after the email. He's calling again tomorrow with more info about funding when he has more time. Apparently they don't have a TA position open for me at the moment but will in the future. Really happy about this one. 2a/0w/2r/6p.

Received email from Don Lee. He said offers for teaching assistantships have already gone out, but that I'm “very high” on the waitlist for funding.

First acceptance! 1a/2r/2p

Just got the call from Deborah Landau! She said there are 16 fiction admits from >1,000 apps.

so incredibly excited and grateful!!! UNH funding situation seems... weird and im not yet sure how this whole thing is going to work out but riding the high for now!

Waste of money. Waste of time. Wasted life. Im going to go back to sleep and pretend i have a future.
