Rejection from the PhD program, but will consider for the Masters.

Applied for PhD program, offered a Research option MS with BME Department Head's fellowship ($5000) and BME Scholarship ($5000)

Rejected for PhD, Consideration for Master's. Probably not gonna take the Master's offer since I have other PhD offers.

TTPB: it was a straight rejection with no interview. I received no status update until this point even after several email. Pretty surprised with acceptance to the Master's program given there was no communication from program throughout the process.

Not waitlist, TTPB: Did you have interview? Or is that straight rejection? Still waiting for the status update...

ignore the wl. Anyone knows what is going on with JHU? i was interviewed and haven't heard anything from JHU, contacted the admissions office, no response. Will they send more offers?

Recommended for admission by BME department.

Rejection to PhD program. Email stated that, based on existing credentials, recommendation will be made for acceptance into BME Master's program.

Had a strong set of recommendations and one of the recommenders also knew the POI personally. Pretty bummed, but I have other offers so it's okay!

There goes my application fee. But honestly not surprised.
