Accepted from wait list by email 3/19

I was called and told that I was "still in the running" but should strongly consider other programs that offer financial assistance if possible. Apparently, as a previous poster mentioned, there is no funding available for those pursuing a terminal master's. I'll be accepting an offer elsewhere.

Had poor GRE scores; one of the reasons

Accepted off of wait-list.

Said I had a very good chance of getting an offer within the next week and a half. No funding for terminal Masters this year so high likelihood of extending additional offers.

I didn't hear from NC State for a long time, so I sent a quick e-mail to the admissions coordinator. He responded quickly and told me that I was not accepted - do wish they had notified me about it though.

Received an email from the director as a preemptive acceptance saying I would later be receiving a formal offer. He urged to let him know if I was choosing another school as soon as possible.
