"The faculty in the School of Public Health and Health Sciences have considered your application for admission to the Graduate School at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and have carefully evaluated all your supporting credentials. I regret to inform you, however, that they did not recommend your admission to the Doctor of Philosophy for the Fall 2024 semester. We receive many qualified applicants each year for a limited number of spaces. We appreciate the interest you have shown in the University of Massachusetts Amherst and wish you the best of luck as you continue your educational career."

Just received a phone call from admissions welcoming me into the DrPH program!

Recommended by SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program. Admission committee thought it's better to complete MPH first.

I had a PI identified and who had enthusiastically agreed to supervise me if accepted. UofT for undergrad (domestic student), somewhere else for Masters. Multiple pubs, presented Masters thesis at conference. I am disappointed, wish they could've told us sooner!

randomly checked my portal this morning and saw my decision had posted, the email to check portal arrived about 5hrs later. beyond thrilled that my final pending decision was an acceptance!! 2a/1w/2r

Please ignore status. Is there anyone that has gotten admission to the program. I had an interview on 2nd February 2024 and since then, no update had been made.
