Any idea when the decision will be out?

Thesis-based program. Winter intake (January 2018). Local applicant, submitted appl.: Aug 18, 2017.

UCLA is such a joke. I emailed on 5/04 asking for my application fee back if they weren't going to even process my application. Two days later, I got an email telling me to check the website for my results. The rejection letter was dated 5/06. Thanks UCLA, I'll see you on the other side from Berkeley.

I sent and email asking for my application status, they answered it's still "under review". They also told me the chances to getting accepted at this time are supper low unless I am already in contact with a professor willing to mentor me.

To the poster below, nope, you're not alone. I'm still technically waiting on their decision. Not that it makes a difference, though. I already sent in my SIR to Berkeley. No use waiting on a school that probably already rejected me.

Master's GPA in Chemistry - 3.5. I have heard literally nothing from them so expected a rejection. Emailed to get a final answer and turns out they accepted me. Extremely unprofessional. It is past the deadline and I have to contact them to get their act together. They didn't even indicated what the funding situation looks like. I hope other people who applied to SU have better options. I accepted VTech a few weeks ago and am very excited about the opportunities there!

Dream admit

Happy however financial difficulties hit me hard recently and admission without any aid made it impossible for me to attend. Good luck to everyone.

Has any body heard from the Environmental Engineering Department. Are all the results out. I contacted the department and they said they are still making decisions.

My program is the Environmental Fluid Mechanics and Hydrology (EFMH), not the Environmental Engineering and Science (EES). By the way, I late received the admission due to incomplete transcripts and TOEFL score reports. As I know, the decision of my application was made in about mid-March.
