Re: received the unofficial last week

official acceptance email from school received today

Berkeley it is.

Overwhelmed! Full tuition and fellowship support. Visitation March 31-April 1.

Am shaking... so excited!

can't be happier!

The the Princeton dude/dudette -- I was told that the committee will be finalizing decisions by the end of this week. I don't know which is worse, all this waiting or being rejected. I'm beginning to think that the waiting is worse.

I've gotten into better schools, but no place with equally delightful weather.

1st year fellowship, 4 years of funding.

Emailed by director of grad studies on 2/20/08 asking for time to talk over the phone.

Very generous funding.

No funding. What a tease!

Still pending decision. I contacted the department and they told me that all letters should be mailed by tomorrow.
