LMAOOOOOO after that long ass wait...

By the end of June?? Really?? Then I guess I won't refresh that portal anymore...

It took quite a long time for them to send such a generalized rejection. Sad :(

Quite tough to get if your undergraduate degree is not Computer Science or very related. They are strict about prerequisite courses and they have many outstanding applicants with a CS degree. My grades not really outstanding but I had a perfect GRE.

Finally received an email to check the update status. Got a rejection. Now need to defer the other universities' admission to next year. Hopefully, USA recovers soon.

Email notified, status on portal

Is there anyone who was asked if they are still interested in being a part of Penn's admissions process? If so, where do you find your Collegenet ID to fill the form? Kindly reply if you get to know it.

I havent even applied to Columbia Univ., but HUGE shoutout to the people with those MegaPosts keeping others up to date.

Columbia is working on the logistics of the next academic year (2020-2021). There are multiple plans that have been proposed so far but the engineering school (and CS department) has not taken a decision. Most likely a decision will be made by the end of June (Depending on the COVID-19 situation then) and everyone will hear back about their application status. As of now, there is a very high chance that classes will be held online in Fall 2020 (for incoming students). I hope this helps. All the best!

CS in TAMU

Hello, my name is Mamunur Rashid. I am a fresh graduate from Bangladesh with a degree in Computer Science. I am very devoted and interested in doing MS in data science.

The admission committee completed decisions in mid-February. Rejections are not sent till June when class attendance is finalized.

Anyone , aware of the major recruiters at UC Davis for the computer science stream ? Would be quite helpful in the university decision... TIA
