Acceptance email and letter from program director with fellowship in ancient Iranian archaeology ($34,000 1st year, no teaching; $29,000 TA-ship years 3-5 with with opportunities for summer funding; insurance and subsidized housing included).

I was not wait listed. I contacted UCI and was told that decisions would not be out until the end of March/Early April. So for anyone saying they were already accepted I'm not sure how that works.

To the poster below: I interviewed that weekend as well, still haven't heard anything either.

Experience: GA, TA, research, & published. Academic references. No interview. Congrats to those given an opportunity.

No GRE. Just got email at 4:45P.M.

Not surprised because didn't get an interview and I've seen enough acceptances from January to assume I'm out for this cycle.

Unfortunate but maybe for the best. Looks like I need to redirect my focus elsewhere. Congrats to those accepted. Maybe I'll apply again in the future.

expected but sad bc it was one of my top choice.

Email that the portal had an admission status update where rejection was posted

Expected, though had the faintest of hopes. Glad to finally have closure.
