Just in the process of making a decision on grad school. Really in between CU Boulder and University of Northern Colorado. Any opinions/things i should know about either program?

TTPB. I did not have any lab assignment with my offer letter but I remember from the info sessions that we could start talking to faculty now about research positions or wait till we are on campus to find a lab. I think they wanted an accepted offer prior to reaching out to PI's.

Has anyone who was admitted received notice of funding/lab assignment? Not sure if these go out with the offers of admission...

Received the "Status Update" email with a link redirecting me to the portal. Nice little touch of adding confetti and streamers to the acceptance letter. Offer is not fully funded but does include a paid TAship and two fellowships (one being the Diversity Recruitment Fellowship, the other a one-time fellowship from the English dept.). Unfortunately, I'll be turning this offer down as I've already committed to a different program. 5a/1w/4r/1p

Got an informal offer on March 17th, and the formal letter today.

Nope, didn't correspond with anyone/the Uni since submitting my app. Didn't even attend the open house due to inconvenient timezone hours... and honestly, I had pretty much given up hope lol. So hang in there, the unexpected can happen!

Hi, I am still waiting for my Ph.D application decision. Can anyone tell me either should I have some hope or there is not chance. I am so heart broken. Did you send any emails or additional documents after getting waitlisted? Just wondering how to improve my chances of getting off the waitlist. Congratulations though for getting in at last.

AMO ex, just got off the waitlist!! International, Masters from UK, 3.5 years research experience, 1 PRA, 5 strong letters, below average GPA....

got an email to check updated application status

just realized there's an email in spam asking me to check portal, waitlisted, no rank given but provided a firm date in which I will hear back. probably copied and pasted letter. GRE scores were sent prior year so uncertain if they took my scores into account
