TTPB: Congratulations on the offer! Did you apply for Spring 2021 specifically or did you take up the offer given to the applicants waitlisted for Fall 2020?

(in person program). Background: BA Math, BS Econ, minor Business Admin, CS prerequisites. CS career.

Applied on 9 Nov, 3rd LoR got in on 1st Dec

Tried to transfer from Data Science program to the CS program. Unfortunately they rejected me. I will try to apply again for fall 2021

In the same position as post below. Applied 10/1 to the CVN program and need to make a decision on the other place I applied by next Weds. FWIW I do believe they are rolling, just frustrating bc they set expectations at 8 weeks to hear back and I'm 10 weeks in. Fingers crossed, but increasingly less optimistic

To the posts that received acceptances to the MS CS program at Columbia - do you mind sharing when your applications were submitted, whether or not you were a F20 waitlist and whether you applied to CVN or the on-campus program? I am struggling to understand why there are sporadic acceptances since the "priority deadline" indicates that it is NOT rolling admissions? I am concerned about when I will receive a decision and I have an upcoming deadline for accepting an offer to a lower-ranked school and don't know what do.

The last submit is for 2021 Spring, not 2020 Spring.

LOR's were completed on 24th Nov. Got accepted today.

I already had an MD, but I was interested in expanding my realm of knowledge. I think that the future of medicine lies in computer science and biotechnology, and no one can tell me otherwise.

MS CS

Transfer from NYU Tandon to NYU Courant.

Fuck it. I can't believe that I waste $125 CAD to even apply. I apply as a citizen with NSERC scholarship. They don't have any decency to do an interview. Such a crap and racist place. Go to hell.

Waitlisted for fall and then got the admit for spring
