Email to check portal.

NOT WL: Emailed UNC admissions and got this in response: Admissions decisions may be released at any time until late April, and will be communicated via the official application portal. No admissions decisions will be released in response to personal email inquiries.

Finally the rejection came.

TPB: If you look at results for this school in past years, you'll see they never release results until like May...if I had known this earlier I never would have applied. What a disrespectful, arrogant practice. Thankful to have acceptances elsewhere already.

[Not WL] Anybody has heard any update from this university?

Rejected after being on the waitlist

TTPB: Thanks for letting me know! I've reached out to them twice, but I haven't heard back. Replying: I got an offer from an I/O program, and I'll probably make a decision in a day or two!

Replying: I do not know if they actually notified those in the waitlist. I think the best option would be to reach out to them directly and ask.

It seems my application failed this year. sad......

Is this school ever planning on releasing results? lol

Not wl. TPB: Could you please share your TOEFL score? Thanks.

Declined funded offer over Rice! It might not be the atmosphere I am looking for. Hope this helps!

TTPB: Thank you so much for your update! Couldn't appreciate it more. Do you know if those waitlisted have been notified of being waitlisted? I have an offer from another program and I'm debating whether I should take it or wait it out. Thank you again!

Replying: UNC made two offers back in February. One accepted, one declined. Since then I understand they interviewed candidates in the waitlist and have extended a new offer and are now waiting for response. Hope this helps!

Accepted, offered federal loans (in state student).
