Warm email from the director of graduate studies. I am over the moon! Finally some good news!

Received a mail notifying the decision on my admission was made. When checked at the website, I was denied the admission.

As much as I hate to admit it, but I, too, confirmed it with their program coordinator whose name other people have mentioned. They indeed sent out all positive notifications and only rejections remain now (official rejection emails will be sent out in April). Quite bummed out because I was hopeful of an admit. Felt my profile was good enough for Purdue.

Hello to the ones who got an admit from INP purdue. If you are not planning to join the course I request you to deny the offer. It will make things easier here. Thank you :)

"At the moment, the committee has been authorized to admit three funded students next fall, and it has made initial offers to three applicants." I am wondering how many of those first round acceptances will actually accept their offer!?!?! If someone wants to start a Purdue forum page, I am anxious to know what my chances are of getting accepted.

The department is only admitting 3 funded students this Fall. This is my top choice. Dearest colleagues: if you plan on turning down an offer from Purdue, please do so in haste!

TTPB: I contacted the program coordinator as I also didn't hear from them (Lacey Siefers). She informed me that all the positive decisions are sent out.

TTPB: Have you heard this from a POI or faculty ?

TTPB: How do you know Purdue CS has sent out ALL the positive results?

unofficial email from the head

I contacted the professor in October 2020 and received the interview in November. Three weeks after the EXPO of EAPS, I finally received the offer with fellowship!

Waitlisted for funding, so if anyone with funding has got better offers at other schools, please kindly give me a chance! Wish you the best of luck!

***Have not been contacted for interview, just curious about interview process*** Has anybody heard anything back from the Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Science department? I know they've had a prospective grad student weekend in the past but I haven't seen anybody post results from the 2021 year yet.
