Status today changed from Submitted to In Review, anybody aware how long it takes after this step for the results in the application

Domestic student. Accepted with funding.

Still in review, what is going Mcgill, did anyone from get accepted notification in May who had in review status in May?

Does any physics people hear from them? My application has been "In Review since the last week of January.

Status changed to "In Review" yesterday. Will be rejecting the offer anyways, I have finalized UT Austin. Extremely disappointed by the way they have handled the admissions. I bet 80% of the students have accepted offer else where. And for CS McGill is not as good as UBC, UT , Waterloo, UofA or even Simon Fraser.

Some applications show "In review" and some show "submitted". This might mean that they are evaluating profiles batch-wise. I had applied in early January and mine shows "In review" now.

TTPB: Has your status changed to "In Review" as well? Mine is still in submitted

Guys, it would be a huge help if the people posting would also post their scores with the post. It would help evaluating the profiles still waiting for a decision. And understand what kind of Shit Mcgill is pulling on us. Will help us understand and make peace with why the things are taking the time given to the unversity.

Mine changed to "In review" today morning. Hoping to get a rejection soon. They are just doing it out of obligation I think, because of the 21st May deadline. This is not quite fair.

Any body else whose status changed to “In Review”? Mine still says “submitted”. Guess not a good sign.

TTPB : I think they changed our statuses just as a mandatory procedure to complete the whole admission work of this year. Honestly, as I haven't got any news from McGill, I think that means a rejection clearly.

Same as TPB, my status changed to In Review today. Im am however afraid that they'il just review quickly due to the 21 May deadline which is not fair actually. Good luck to everyone

My status changed to "in review" from "submitted" this morning. I think I will get a rejection soon.

TTPB : Were you interviewed before your admit?

I contacted Prof. Liu, Xue who agrees to supervise me in the last minute. The next day, I got the official offer. I am so happy that I could got to McGill. Good luck to all the other students who are still waiting for the result.

TTPB: The last professor I contacted is not among the professors I listed in my online application or in my statement of purpose.

TTPB: so for the last prof that agrees to supervise you, is he one of the POIs that you mentioned way back in the 3-question whatever thing? or is he someone that you had not mentioned in your application files?

In response to some banners below: yes, I applied for the thesis option. I submitted my application last November. Then I contacted several professors, but very few of them replied to my emails. About two weeks ago, I reached out to another professor and finally got a positive reply. There are too many applicants this year.

I had hope, my god, I live on it. anyway, McGill ended up disappointing me more than, more than any of the other silly schools.
