[ignore interview] TTPB: what was the interview like? Is there a mandatory interview for admission or any specific reason that this interview was applied? Also, when did you apply?

Ignore interview. Did anyone hear back for Applied Data Science MS program? By when can we expect the results?

International student, got the results 1week after interview. $2000 scholarship.

Several papers in top and mid tier conferences (maximum as first author). Nominated as committee member in reputed IEEE international societies. The research interest was exact match with the centre. Very disappointed. This questions their selection criteria.

UCLA MEng Data Science option. Math major with 2 years of research experience and 8 months internship experience in data science at a national lab.

4 internships: 1 at a tire manufacturer, 2 at tech companies, 1 at electric car manufacturer in california- all related to data and data science, one published article in a major mathematics journal, research thesis on data science, strong LORs, other math-related extracurriculars. pretty sure this is because my school is a small, public, no name liberal arts college in the middle of no where!
