taken down from waitlist; not decided to commit yet

I just wanted to give some encouragement to those with a lower GPA! Most people I see posting their stats have almost perfect GPAs and it can be discouraging. I applied to 12 schools all over America, waitlisted at 3 so far, and accepted into 1. I didn't think I'd ever get into a state school with a 3.3 GPA my first round and I did. You'll get in somewhere!!

Top choice; would love to attend. Here's hoping someone declines admission.

Congrats to everyone admitted!! I'm between Pitt and a few others right now – does anyone know if there's a FB page for admitted students yet? Thanks!

Have to say this result can be expected, because only limited research areas are matched with background. But I have to cast doubt on their admission process. No notification ever about admission. I found out myself on 18th March that I was rejected on 24th January, while my last recommendation provider submitted his letter on 18th January.

got rejection yesterday , but wait-listed today. Will decline, have better offer .

Got a rejection yesterday. Received another email to check the portal this morning and was notified the rejection was a mistake and I am waitlisted instead. Wonder how many other people they did this to.

W funding

I received an email yesterday that I was rejected, but received another email this morning that I am on the waitlist......

Please decline if you decide not to go. Tons of thanks!
