I contacted the dept. a week ago, was told that decisions will be made through April. So we need to wait longer. Hope they communicate before April 15 deadline. Those who attended Preview day may hear earlier.

To all those accepted in Fall 17 M.Eng, when is online orientation date ?

Just send the department an email asking the size of enrollment last year, they'll let you know the single digit number. I read it on quora, a current phd student had written it. Can't share links on this website, but the first result on google search for "uc berkeley ms mechanical meng" should give you the correct link.

To the poster who applied MS in mechanical below, I have send the admission office several emails but got same generic reply saying 'decision will be made through the end of march'. I guess the worst case scenario is that the committee may even ignore our MS applications.
