Interviewed 2 weeks ago

Official WL email from UMich. I suspected WL considering several acceptances and rejections have gone out. No GRE, undergrad research one year, from top 20 public university. Have 4 acceptances and 3 rejections so far. 5 no responses that are likely WL.

Anyone has heard back after interview? Thanks in advance for your comments!

Ignore waitlist. Has anyone got acceptance so far?

(Ignore WL) TTBP: I posted the previous result. Notification was sent to me about 2 hours ago you posted a comment. I remember that the letter said, briefly, the program is extremely competitive and most applicants are denied admission.

Received the offer directly from email, need to answer by 3.15

Expected

bachelor's degree in US (top 20), MS outside of US, no GRE, no pub, have research experience

Masters in Applied Math, some drafts in preparation, no GRE

Got notified that I didn't make the first round of offers and that my status depends on the amount of people taking the offers. Congratulations to those who got accepted. If you have decided not to attend UMD please do me a huge favor by notifying the department at your earliest convenience. I truly appreciate it.

The GPA is for the master's degree. I received strong encouragement to apply. I was disappointed; it was my dream school. :(

Received unofficial email from the director (Prof. Cunningham). Interviewed about two weeks ago. Connection with one of the prof in my SOP and a few publications.
