Reached out to department and was told "We just completed our admissions review within the last week. I regret to inform you that you have not been amongst those accepted into our program during that review process. Please note that we have had many competitive applications this year. We understand that this is a difficult process for students who are weighing their options. However, normally, we do not inform students that they have not been accepted until some weeks hence, as sometimes the situation changes and we are able to move applicants up. What I can tell you right now is that it is highly unlikely that you will be accepted into our program." I have an MA in History of Art & Archaeology, have worked with museums before and curated exhibits. Emails with department before application were promising, not sure where I went wrong.

Received an e-mail with link to check my application, official letter arriving soon! 1A/0R/3P

Got accepted, haven't heard anything about funding. Won't accept unless its affordable. :/

I did not get any notifications, but I contacted the program and they told me that I had been waitlisted. She said I should know mid-March.

Official offer from the Dean of GS on 2/27 (a little after midnight), but the informal offer from the Visual Arts Dept grad directors came Feb. 8.

:(

Email to check portal

email stating that they are "unable to approve your application for admission", effing hell, third rejection in this cycle, with no admissions, no wait lists. Numbers game or not this is the worst.

email and follow up call after website notification
