To the Civil Engineering Admit below Congratulations!!!!!!!!! please what is your speciality. Did you reach out to the professors after your admit?

Received a Research Assistantship!!

Email directing me to portal. Form letter. 1a/1w/3r/0p.

Received offer letter with funding on 5th, still deliberating but most likely will decline. So posting here, hopefully it will help someone waitlisted.

I received the same email as the previous posts. I am not optimistic because I am in group 3 (the unranked reserve group). I was surprised that the email did not indicate how many people they are accepting and how many people are in group 2 (the ranked waitlist). If anyone has information regarding this, we should start a forum!

They're only offering three spots with funding. First off, if you're excepted, congrats! Second, if you have been excepted but are thinking of rejecting their offer, please do so quickly! Good luck to all :)

TTPB: To the person who received the official letter two days back, may I know are you an international student or domestic? Thanks!

TTPB: I did get the official acceptance two days back. I actually got a mail to get the portal.

Has anyone receive the official offer letter? I receive an unofficial offer letter by email on Feb 16, and it reads official letter will follow. But still no information...

TTPB: My specialization is in additive manufacturing of energetic materials for propulsion. The faculty member is a new assistant professor whose group will be working at Zucrow. I will probably accept a competing offer instead. If you've not heard back from Purdue ME faculty, you will probably not be admitted to Ph.D. but could be admitted to MS. In the latter case, reach out to professors and see if you can get TA/RA funding for MS, and then continue as Ph.D. student. Best of luck!
