Big sad :/

Applied with 4 letters of rec, 2 research experiences, 3 internships, and 3 senior design project experiences. Delighted to get in!

Does anyone hear anything from the program after the first round of offers? I start a topic, "UCI Mathematical Computational Systems Biology 2021 Ph.D.", at the forum section. Please feel free to discuss it there.

Mail to check portal, no funding info

3.33 GPA, 2 internships, 2 strong recommenders.

Email to check portal with the decision letter. No interview so it was kind of expected. 1a / 4r / 1p

To the last poster--yes, I know of people who have accepted offers already. I'd email Dr. Borelli with questions about whether the specific spot in your POI's lab has been filled yet.

Has anyone received an offer after interviews?

TTPB: I have also applied for the MS program in CS. No decision yet. I contacted the CS grad office. They replied with the following: "Thank you for applying to our graduate program. You can check the status of your application materials on the online application. If your application checklist is complete, but you have not been notified of an admissions decision yet, your application is awaiting a decision. Although we have started sending out decisions, we have not finished and will most likely not finish until sometime in May." Not sure how many positive decisions are pending.

Hi, does anyyyyone knows if they have rolled out MSCS decisions and if there are any seats left? Should we wait only for rejections? Any insights are well appreciated, this limbo is killing me.

No interview invite. No GRE due to COVID-19.

Honestly not surprised. Almost all UCs claim they had more applicants than anticipated this year.
