No official letter yet. But ECE department reached out and informed that I have been awarded a fellowship

Got a TA offer through Spring 2026 via email. Admission portal still shows awaiting decision. I had reached out to professors last Summer before applying but I don't know who my PI is yet. I had interviewed with two people. They said they will follow up with an admit soon. Truly overjoyed, and truly grateful.

Funded; no interview.

Can I know your status? In the interview, I thought that I would get admission, but I have not received any decision yet. Probably, do I need to consider other options?

Bachelor's in mechanical engineering from a top NIT in India. 2 published research papers in image processing/computer vision (one journal and one conference) and one ML paper under review in a top AI and Manufacturing Journal (Q1 journal).
