Anyone else out there? This offer is so weird.

April 15 resolution is knocking. Still, there is no update. Is there anyone who has received the admission+funding decision?

Accepted with RA. Already talked with professor

To the posters got accepted: was Prof. Dhruv Batra in your POI mentioned in SOP.

To the poster sharing Gatech results: please share mail details, scholarship details and your profile details.

So excited!

Does anyone know whether some requests for financial aid / scholarship is also required to be filled by 31st Jan 2020 apart from the Graduate Application that we have filled?? Sorry for creating confusion if any but I am confused by the contents of pages at https://finaid.gatech.edu/graduate-student and https://finaid.gatech.edu/incoming-first-year

to all the posters of admits/interview of GaTech PhD CS F20, was anyone of your PI Prof. Judy Hoffman/Devi Parikh/Dhruv Batra?

Email by POI.

Happy for all who got admitted nonetheless

Was a dream school, still disappointed. No publications, 7.45 GPA from a tier 1 college in India. Decent LORs and SOP with relevant work experience.

CS Undergrad from India with good projects, 1 journal publication, and some good LoRs. Above average CGPA from Tier 1 college (BITS/Top 3 NIT), but nothing to write home about.

Undergrad from a Tier-1 Indian college. 3 years' overall work experience (currently in Machine Learning) at a leading tech company. 2 US patents, 2 IEEE conference publications, 2 posters at the company's summits in the US and multiple internal awards for technical proficiency. Torn between GT and Columbia! Wondering if the NYC/Ivy League experience at Columbia justifies the steep cost.
