TTPB from systems track: Did you receive the email recently? I am wondering if emails are rolling out slowly or all done.

Received email on 1 pm EST. Interviewed with a professor not in SoP.

TTPB who got a formal rejection: What was your field of interest?

Systems track

TTPB: 5k? you are just making this up right? if 5k is true people need to be realistic and stop dreaming of winning the lottery. I guarantee at least 4k of them went to the trash bin right away. Evaluate your profile objectively and stop wasting your money!

Formal rejection email stating that eventhough I have a good profile, there were just many qualified applicants nearly about 5k.

area: Pl, excited!

MIT waitlisted student, do you get an official wait list email?

Email from non POI

For those who didn't get a decision. Keep refreshing your email. I heard they work after hours to make sure they give prompt decisions.

Westside represent. By west side I mean west India!

Has anyone actually received a rejection mail, or are you posting that because you did not get an acceptance?

To posters who have received an admission decision, can you please notify what time you received the decision (in your timezone). I just want to know whether I should keep refreshing my email or the results are all from the same batch that came out.

TTPB: Congratulation! May I ask what field you are in, and did you any interviews with your POI?

I hate it
