I inquired by email and I was told the committee has started to send admission offers to applicants and my application was waitlisted, but that they expect that I should hear within the next couple days regarding the outcome! I am very hopeful and this is absolutely my top program! So if you are thinking about turning it down, please let them know!

Sorry for posting it late, just curious if anyone is going to decline their offer of admission.

GPA is Masters, accepted without funding. Grad Director sent a very nice email and explained that there are only 5 funded positions this year. While I do badly need the funding, today I celebrate!!! Second year applying and I couldn't be happier :D 1a/6r/5p

gpa is from my MA. nice rejection email but still stings since this was one of my top choices. email said they had 106 applications for 7 spots this year so ultra competitive but didn't say anything more specific about my application, just that they're looking for a balance of students across literary periods and genres. 0a/0i/3r/2p

Domestic Canadian student. I received an email from the graduate admissions committee some days ago and the official communication from the university today. Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear from Waterloo:)

standard rejection email. oh well.

Checked the portal; this was expected as acceptances and waitlists were out before. Anyways.. 1a/2w/6r/3p

Happiest Monday in a while!

Checked portal

GPA is from Master's

If you’re considering any other program please let them know, this is probably my only chance to get in :)

BA and MA

3rd rejection of the cycle. 4 universities left. I don’t have any hope of acceptances to be honest.

Please, please, please decline your admission if you do not plan to attend this program. I received an update in my application stating that they would like to offer me a place on the waitlist. Fordham is my top choice, and this is my dream program, so if you don’t intend to enroll, I kindly ask you to decline your offer, and I hope you get into a better school.

Notified by a very kind email. Please let them know if you don't wanna go, Seattle is a dream! So happy to know that at least the faculty liked my application.
