American but I studied in Australia Applied April 5, Interviewed May 24

Applied after March ddl, just got the offer today. Canadian University (UofT), not very high GPA, but have a great proposal and recommendation letters. Really happy and looking forward to Oxford. Please believe in yourself and at least give it a try to achieve your dream, Good luck to everyone else:)

Rejected last March 23rd. Requested for subject access and found out the following results: From Assessor 1, academic record (poor), references (good), written work (poor), SOP (poor). Meanwhile from Assessor 2, academic record (very good), references (very good), written work (excellent), SOP (very good). Just wow.

Yay! Never thought that I, after applying in late October, would finally be accepted now in May. I guess patience was key after all! :)

MSt Brit & Euro Hist 1700-1850. Context: on track for a good 1st from a non-London, non-Oxbridge RG uni, have also studied abroad an an Ivy. Shame as Oxf was my first choice but I have an offer from Cambridge so can't complain. Note: MASSIVE DELAYS to Oxford decisions this year. Quite disrespectful tbh, waited six months for a decision and Oxford missed their own deadline for making decisions by four weeks, didn't even get a courtesy email explaining why decisions would be late, just an impersonal, 2am automated rejection with no feedback. Don't expect good comms from the History Faculty!
