I just checked the website and the rejection was there today. I have yet to receive an email to check the website. This application season has been a strange ride that I am glad is over. Good luck to everyone!

Accepted off waiting list with full funding. MA in Linguistics, Fulbright, research experience domestically and abroad.

4 years of private sector work experience in the tech industry. Waitlisted for funding.

I applied here as a reach honestly. my gpa was on the low side and my test scores average (Q:158 V:157 AW:5) BUT i had killer recs ample work and internship experience in college. plus i volunteer and had a few publications. Those things definitely carried me. I am super excited about this! Congrats to all accepted!

Received an email saying I was accepted around 12. It also said official letters are being sent out at 5pm EST. I am so excited for this opportunity. Since I am coming straight out of undergrad I thought my acceptance chances were quite low. The email also said I was waitlisted for funding, but I am not sure how many people are told that. Congrats to all accepted!

Full tuition + $17k for living expenses. Near-native command of a few regional languages + vast living experience in the regions. I am still considering their offer.

Yeah, no worries if you're not concerned about funding. SSP gives very limited funding and you can almost be certain that those they called will be receiving the bulk of it... I, for one, am not excited about the prospect of 100k+ in debt.

Just to add - I also haven't heard back, so I called Georgetown GSAS today. They said that some programs are releasing unofficial decisions early to people who have reached out to the programs directly, but their early unofficial notification is not indicative of priority and nothing is official until Friday when they'll release all the results. No worries!

Hello posters, dont freak out. Decisions will apparently be released on Friday. People who know already know because someone called them. Georgetown lets everyone (except those called or international students) know on the same date. I know someone who was called and they said decisions are coming Friday the 16th.

To the person who said they haven't heard anything since submitting the application..did you at least get an email from the Director saying that your application was complete?
