Interest in early American social history and material culture. Finishing up an M.A. in history (3.89 GPA), average GRE scores (158 Verbal, 147 Quant, 4.5 W). No acceptances yet.

Interest in material culture and spoke with professor who was taking on graduate students. Professor was concerned about low GRE scores (159 Verbal, 147 Quant, 5.0 Writing), but encouraged me to apply because of high undergraduate GPA (3.9).

Checked webpage for status.

Call from POI, mentioned competition was extra tough this year. Congrats to those accepted!

Good luck to all!

Very excited!

Funding for 4 years; Comparative

MA GPA: 3.97. Email from DGS. Funded.

Had a nice but short conversation with DGS. Said the offer letter would be in the mail.

Applying with an M.A. in history from Ivy with a 3.9 graduate gpa. GRE scores: Q-152, V-163, W-5.0. Anticipated acceptance here with my stats.

No email, just checked website. Disappointed, this was one of my top choices and I thought I was qualified for the MA. 3.85 gpa, honors thesis, language proficiency, and the program was a good fit with my interest in material culture.

No email, just checked the website like the others.

Checked the Website….Looks like they'll send the generic letters later in the day today. Hope I have better luck with the other schools.

No email, just logged into website randomly. Not crushed. Received acceptance at a more prestigious school plus still waiting to hear back from 4 more.

Very nice call from Grad Director. No official decision yet; invited to visit March 2-4 to meet faculty and other grad students. 3.78 cum. gpa. Cum Laude, 1 conference

No official acceptance yet. But invitation to visitation days. Acceptances will go out shortly after visitation.
