I was called today and notified by phone of my acceptance. I was told that letters would be mailed out next week with more information.

I'm an out-of-field candidate (International Relations), but have taken all the prerequisites except one. Over the phone they said there are 16 people on the waiting list. They also will disclose your approximate placement on the list. Most schools won't, so I really appreciate that. I was in the top third.

I emailed to ask, and was told I should have gotten a letter two weeks ago. They had 400 applicants for 10 spots--they cut the program in half this year b.c of the economy.
