An interview with POI three weeks ago lasted for thirty minutes after which I was told that I would be given admission with full funding. My first admit, guys! Over three years of industrial experience.

No pubs. T200 school. A decent amount of research experience and while some of it is relevant, none of it is exactly what I want to do in the future. Going in I felt like a subpar applicant, but I met virtually with a professor and we simply vibed. I'm so excited :)

Offered an Dean's Distinguished Fellowship Award. The funding amount is so small, and I have been admitted to other universities, so I'm going to decline anyway.
