TTPB: Hi, I'm another admit. When you receive the admission email from the department (MechSE), you are basically admitted. The MechSE department recommends you for admission to the UIUC Graduate College, and the Graduate College formally admits you into graduate study at the university. This is just a formality. Unless something is seriously wrong, you are admitted. Soon the portal will update and you will receive notification from the UIUC Graduate College, but first, the recommendation for admission has to be processed. Then I assume we will get our NetID, UIN, i-Card, etc. | ||||
