I've accepted an offer elsewhere and asked to be removed from the wait list

So excited! Will be accepting offer.

Not really disappointed by this. Will likely remove myself from the list and accept another offer as this was not the best interview experience.

Not sure why it took an additional week for them to contact me and say I was on the wait list.

Received a generic but encouraging e-mail about being placed on the waitlist.

I was notified by phone & email that I have been accepted into the program for the Fall 2016 term.

I knew it was coming. Even though I had a low GPA and low GRE scores, they should have given me a chance to explain at the interview that I was never invited to. I did have some work experience, but it did not help. I was notified via email with a standard rejection letter.

I was rejected from the PhD interviews but they asked if I wanted to interview for their Masters degree program.
