I had an interview in mid Feb with two faculty members. Does anyone know what are the chances of getting admitted if you do fairly well in the interview? I applied for AI/ML.

I asked the department and they said all applicants on the shortlist should have been invited to be interviewed in Jan, and the results will come out in 1-2 weeks. So those who didn't receive the interview should be rejected (including me, although I have good backgrounds and connections with POI), sorry for this bad news.

TTPB. That is something I did not ask. With March 19 being 2.5 weeks from now it is possible for them to conduct more interviews, but I don't know for sure. Also, it looks like all admits at this moment are admitted without an interview. This is also true on the UK forum The Student Room. Honestly, it does not matter. If you have not received an offer yet, just know that there is still a chance of being admitted. Be patient.

TTPB: Do they still sending out invites for interviews? Or is it just offers now? Some people are getting offers without being interviewed - this is a bit surprising, as I thought that interviews are compulsory.

For those of you bitting your nails like me, I just emailed the cs department and they said the decisions are still being finalized and everyone should get a decision by March 19. Obviously your (my) chance of being admitted is lower if you have not yet received an offer, but hopefully this information will alleviate you from the urge to constantly refresh gradcafe.
